OUR MISSION

The Prouts Neck Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. Its primary mission is biodiversity stewardship through the control of plants classified as invasive by the State of Maine and the promotion of native plants. In addition, the Conservancy shall educate, encourage, recommend, guide and support residents and visitors, as well as conduct specific programs and activities aimed at educating the youth on the proper identification and care of native plant life on Prouts Neck.
